FAQ
Common questions about ROXFIT and how it works
ROXFIT Ultra
What is ROXFIT Ultra?
ROXFIT is the app for HYROX & Hybrid racing. Ultra is a new premium layer that adds competition and intelligence beyond race day. We're keeping the details under wraps for now. The waitlist will be the first to see it.
What happens to the ROXFIT app I use today?
Nothing changes. The app you use today stays free. Ultra adds a new set of premium features on top. It's additive, not a replacement.
Do I pay anything to join the waitlist?
No. Joining is completely free with no commitment. You only decide whether Ultra is for you when it opens.
Getting started
How do I create an account?
Download ROXFIT from the App Store or Google Play. Tap Sign Up, choose email, Google, or Apple, and enter your name, gender, and date of birth. Full walkthrough in the Getting Started guide.
How is the app organised?
Four tabs: Home, Train, Races, and Profile, plus the HYPE button in the centre. Home is your feed. Train is your workout hub. Races is where you find events and results. Profile tracks your history and linked race results.
How do I find my first workout?
Three ways: the daily WOD on your Home feed, the Workout Library in the Train tab, or tap HYPE and describe what you want. Full breakdown in the Getting Started guide.
How do I use PaceMe?
PaceMe turns a goal time into a station-by-station race plan. Full setup in the PaceMe guide.
Can I use ROXFIT without training for a race?
Yes. You can build, generate, and complete workouts without any race on the horizon. The race features are there when you need them.
PaceMe
What is PaceMe?
PaceMe is the ROXFIT race calculator. Give it your target finish time, division, and venue, and it maps out exactly how long you should spend on every run, every station, and your total Roxzone time.
How do I open PaceMe?
Three ways in: search for PaceMe in the Races tab, tap the calculator icon on any Event page, or tap the PaceMe icon on the Home screen.
What information do I need to set up a plan?
Your race venue (or General Course if yours is not listed yet), your gender and division (Open, Doubles, Relay, or PRO), and your target finish time. You can then edit individual splits before syncing.
Can I adjust my splits before race day?
Yes. Tap any split to edit it manually. Build the plan around your strengths. Own the Ski Erg? Take a second back. Wall Balls your weakness? Give yourself the time.
How do I get my race plan onto my watch?
Once your splits are set, tap Sync and choose Apple Watch or Garmin. Full steps in the Apple Watch guide and Garmin guide.
Apple Watch
What do I need to connect Apple Watch?
An iPhone with ROXFIT installed, an Apple Watch paired to that iPhone, and the ROXFIT Watch app. The watch app is bundled with the iOS app. No separate download needed.
How do I pair my Apple Watch?
Open ROXFIT on your iPhone, go to Profile, tap Devices, and choose Apple Watch. The app detects it automatically. Full steps in the Apple Watch guide.
What permissions does ROXFIT need?
Grant Health & Workouts and Motion & Fitness permissions. These let ROXFIT track heart rate, record sessions, and log calories.
How do I sync PaceMe splits to my Apple Watch?
Open your Race Calculator, tap "Add pacing to wearable," choose Apple Watch, adjust your settings, and sync. Your splits are on your wrist for race day.
Do workout results sync back automatically?
Yes. Data syncs from your watch to your iPhone with no manual upload needed. If results are not appearing, check the Sync Queue on your watch and make sure Bluetooth is on.
Garmin
How do I connect ROXFIT to Garmin?
Open ROXFIT, go to Profile, tap Connected Apps & Devices, choose Garmin, log in to Garmin Connect, and enable both permission toggles. Full steps in the Garmin guide.
What is the ROXFIT Garmin Data Field?
A custom screen that shows your current exercise, target, next exercise, pace delta, heart rate, and elapsed time. Install it from the Garmin Connect IQ store by searching ROXFIT.
How do I get my PaceMe plan onto my Garmin?
Build your plan in PaceMe, select your Garmin device, and tap Sync to Garmin. It sends via Garmin Connect to your watch. Full steps in the Garmin guide.
How do workout results get back to ROXFIT from Garmin?
Save your workout on the watch. It syncs to Garmin Connect, then reaches ROXFIT within 1-5 minutes. Do not discard the workout. Discarding it stops the data from coming through.
What are the recommended race-day Garmin settings?
Use Auto sport detection, disable Running Auto-Lap, and set Lap On to "Run only." This keeps button presses to a minimum during transitions.
Race results
How do I find my HYROX race results?
Go to the Races tab, use the search bar, and type your name as it appears on your HYROX registration. Tap any result to see full station splits, rankings, and pacing data. Full guide in Finding and Linking Results.
How do I link results to my profile?
Find your result, tap the three dots, and select "Link Race." Or go to Profile, tap Linked Races, enter your name, and confirm the matching results. Full steps in the results guide.
What name should I use when searching?
The exact name on your HYROX registration. If the name differs you can still search manually, but a result can only be linked to one profile.
Can I unlink an incorrect result?
Yes. Go to Profile, tap the Races tab, find the result, tap the three dots, and select "Unclaim Race." The data stays in the system.
How do I compare my splits against other athletes?
Tap "Compare" on any completed result. You can benchmark against the race average, age group average, wave average, a saved race, or a specific athlete.
My result looks out of date. How do I refresh it?
Open the result, tap the three dots near the share button, and select "Refresh result" to pull the latest data from HYROX.
How do I share my results?
Tap "Share results" to copy a link or send via other apps. For shareable graphics, tap "See All" next to Overlays, pick a design, and download.
Tracking athletes
How do I track an athlete through a race?
Search for their name from the Home feed or Races tab, select their race, and tap "Track race." On race day they appear at the top of your Home feed. Full guide in Tracking an Athlete.
What notifications can I set up?
Three options: Start/End (when they cross the start and finish lines), All stations (an update at each station), and Rank changes (when their overall or age group position shifts).
Where do tracked athletes appear in the app?
In the Tracking Tab within your Events page. On race day they appear on your Home feed in a horizontal scroll at the top.
How do I stop tracking an athlete?
Swipe left on their card in the Tracking view and delete, or open their event details and uncheck "tracking race."

Does ROXFIT provide training plans?
Not currently. HYPE, the ROXFIT AI assistant, helps you create workouts around your equipment, time, and goals. Structured multi-week plans are not yet available.
