HYROX 2026/27: Every UK race and how to enter
The new season. The tickets you can still get. The ones dropping next.
You’ve been thinking about racing a UK HYROX this season. Birmingham’s nearly sold out. London ExCeL hasn’t dropped yet. Dublin opens on 10 July. Welcome to HYROX 2026/27, where the ticket window is often shorter than the race itself. Here’s the state of the season, what’s still open, and what to have ready for the drops that haven’t happened yet.
The UK & Ireland 2026/27 season at a glance
Three races have confirmed dates. Four more UK stops are expected later in the 2026/27 season, based on the pattern of prior years.

HYROX has been adding UK cities year on year, so don’t be surprised if another one turns up before the season is out.
Birmingham NEC, 27 Oct to 1 Nov: nearly sold out
Birmingham is the first UK race of the 2026/27 season. Six days at the NEC across Open, Pro, Doubles, Mixed Doubles and Relay. If you haven’t got a spot yet, you’re on borrowed time. Remaining tickets tend to appear in small waves as HYROX opens up extra heats. Set a hyrox.com alert and check daily.
If you miss out entirely, transfers are your route in. The official HYROX platform lets existing entrants swap their spot within the same division up to a couple of weeks before race day.
Dublin, 11 to 15 Nov: tickets drop 10 July
Ireland’s HYROX scene has grown fast over the past two seasons and the crowds match it. The 2026 edition is one of the biggest fixtures on the autumn calendar and the ticket window opens on 10 July, so this is the earliest heads-up you’ll get. Set the alert now.
For UK athletes, Dublin is barely further than Glasgow. Hour-long flight, same time zone, no visa, no adaptor needed.
London ExCeL, 2 to 6 Dec: ticket drop in the next few weeks
The biggest UK HYROX by field size, and historically the fastest sell-out. Tickets aren’t live yet but are expected to drop within the next few weeks. What tends to happen:
- Multi-tier release, with many divisions gone in the hour
- Women’s Doubles is usually the first division to sell out
- Solo Open tickets are the last to go, but rarely more than a day
Set your alert for the release announcement, not just the release date. Have your card ready before the queue opens.
The 2027 UK races, expected
None of these are officially confirmed yet, but the pattern’s clear enough to plan around:
- Manchester Central, likely mid to late January 2027, kicking off the calendar year
- Glasgow SEC, likely March 2027, the Scottish fixture
- London Olympia, likely late March 2027, potentially with an EMEA Championship weekend attached
- Cardiff Principality Stadium, likely late April 2027, back in Wales’ national rugby ground

How to enter a HYROX race
The process is the same across every UK event. The windows are what change.
- Tickets release 90 to 150 days before race day. Most races sell out fast, with many divisions gone in the hour.
- Expect to pay around £150 for all ticket types. Doubles and Relay are priced per team.
- Divisions at entry: Open (standard weights), Pro (heavier sleds, heavier balls), Doubles (two athletes alternating), Mixed Doubles, Relay (four athletes, one station each).
- Age Group slots you automatically based on date of birth. That’s the category that matters if you’re chasing Worlds qualification.
Before you enter, check what’s changed. If you’re up for racing abroad this season
The UK has a quiet stretch between Birmingham and London ExCeL. Europe’s got plenty going on if you want more races in the 2026/27 season.

- HYROX Maastricht, MECC (NL), 17–20 Sept. Kicks off the Benelux season. Easy trip from London.
- HYROX Hamburg, 28 Oct – 1 Nov. HYROX’s German heartland, some of the biggest fields you’ll race in.
- HYROX Barcelona, 11–15 Nov. Warm-weather race, a nicer November than most.
- HYROX Utrecht, Jaarbeurs (NL), 26–30 Nov. Central Netherlands, well connected, easier tickets than the marquee events.
- HYROX Stockholm, 10–13 Dec. Same venue that hosted the 2026 Worlds.
- HYROX Paris, 12–20 Dec. Consistently the highest-demand European race outside Worlds.

Worlds head to Hong Kong for the first time in 2027, at AsiaWorld-Expo. The full qualifying window runs through the new points system until spring 2027.
Frequently asked questions
How early do HYROX UK tickets sell out?
London ExCeL is historically the fastest UK sell-out and high-demand events go fast, with many divisions gone in the hour. Other UK races have had longer windows. Women’s Doubles tends to be the first division to go across the board. If you miss the main window, extra heats sometimes open up in the weeks before the event, so it’s worth checking the official page regularly.
Can I transfer or refund a HYROX ticket?
Transfers are allowed within the same division through the official HYROX platform, usually up to a couple of weeks before race day. Refunds aren’t offered, so a transfer is the only exit if you can’t compete. Terms vary slightly by race, so check the specific event.
What’s the difference between Open and Pro?
Pro uses heavier sleds, heavier wall balls, and a heavier sandbag. Times are faster because the field is faster, not because the workouts are easier. If it’s your first HYROX, Open is where you belong.
Do I need to qualify to enter a HYROX race?
No. UK HYROX races are open entry, subject to tickets. Qualification only matters for the Elite Series and World Championships, which now runs on the points system covered in the 2026/27 season changes piece.
